The Kiolo MCP server lets AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT access your Kiolo transcripts and summaries directly — you can ask questions in natural language instead of searching manually. The connection is EU-compliant and stays fully under your control.

The Kiolo MCP server connects the recordings stored in your Kiolo app with AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT. That lets you ask questions about your conversations, extract action items, or find topics across multiple recordings — without manually searching the app.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant securely access external data sources. Connect Kiolo once, and the assistant can work directly with your transcripts and summaries.
Requirements
- A Kiolo device synced with the Kiolo app, so your recordings are already transcribed.
- An AI assistant that supports MCP connections (e.g., Claude or ChatGPT).
Setting up the connection
- In the Kiolo app, open Settings › Integrations › MCP Server.
- Enable MCP access and copy the server address shown.
- Add this address as a new connector in your AI assistant (e.g., in Claude under Settings › Connectors).
- Sign in with your Kiolo account in the browser window that opens. The connection is established via a secure login (OAuth) — your password is never shared with the assistant.
- Confirm the authorization. The assistant can now access your recordings.
What you can ask
- “Summarize my last conversation with the supplier.”
- “What action items came out of my recordings this week?”
- “Which conversations mentioned the budget?”
Privacy and control
MCP access covers only your own recordings — never those of other people or shared spaces. As the person making the recording, you remain responsible for complying with consent requirements (in particular Section 201 StGB).
All content continues to be processed exclusively in the EU and is never used to train AI models. You’re always in control of access: under Settings › Integrations › MCP Server, you can revoke the connection with one tap. The assistant loses access immediately.
Please note that your AI assistant is an independent third-party provider. Once you send content there, its privacy terms also apply.
