Notion integration

With the Notion integration, you can send your finished Kiolo conversation notes to your own Notion database with one tap. That way summaries, tasks, and transcripts automatically end up where your team already works.

At a glance

  • The connection uses secure OAuth authorization in Notion — Kiolo never stores your Notion password.
  • Only finished, processed notes can be sent; the raw audio stays in Kiolo's EU processing and is never sent to Notion.
  • Kiolo automatically creates its own Notion database; each shared note becomes a page with title, date, summary, and tasks.
  • You decide per note whether and what gets shared — there's no automatic background upload.
  • You can disconnect the integration anytime in the Kiolo app; pages already shared remain in your Notion.

With the Notion integration, you can bring your finished Kiolo conversation notes directly into your Notion workspace — no copy-pasting, no formatting loss.

Connecting Notion

  1. Open the Kiolo app and go to Settings › Integrations › Notion.
  2. Tap Connect Notion. You’ll be redirected to Notion’s sign-in page.
  3. Sign in to Notion and choose the workspace Kiolo is allowed to work in.
  4. Confirm the authorization. Kiolo then automatically creates a database called Kiolo Notes” in your workspace.

The connection uses secure OAuth authorization. As a result, Kiolo only gets access to the database it created itself, and it never stores your Notion password.

Sending a note to Notion

  1. Open a finished note in the Kiolo app.
  2. Tap the share icon and select Send to Notion.
  3. The note appears as a new page in your “Kiolo Notes” database — with title, date, summary, action items, and (if available) the transcript.

Only notes that have already been processed can be sent. While a recording is still being processed, the button is grayed out.

What gets sent — and what doesn’t

Kiolo only sends the processed text content to Notion. The original audio recording never leaves Kiolo’s EU processing environment and is never transmitted to Notion.

A note on privacy: Once a note is in Notion, your Notion workspace’s storage and access rules apply — no longer Kiolo’s. Only send content from confidential conversations to spaces with appropriate access permissions. Also remember: the recording itself still requires the consent of everyone involved under Section 201 StGB.

Disconnecting

You can end the connection anytime under Settings › Integrations › Notion by tapping Disconnect. Future notes will no longer be transferred. Pages already shared remain in your Notion and must be deleted there separately if desired.
